Casts harden for comedy pilots

Nicole Sullivan has been tapped as the lead in the Lifetime comedy
pilot "Rita Rocks," joined by Richard Ruccolo and Tisha Campbell
Martin.

The multicamera "Rita," from Media Rights Capital, centers on Rita
(Sullivan), an overworked wife and mother in the middle of a full-
blown identity crisis who starts a garage band with her postal
carrier Patty (Campbell Martin) as well as her neighbor.

Ruccolo, repped by APA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, will
play Rita's husband, a handsome former jock who now spends his days
working 9 to 5 in a jacket and tie. Sullivan is with Innovative and
the Safran Co.
