- Missouri RSV 408.010 is the legal tender law for Missouri. Here's a link from the State website:
In addition, two other facts make this feasible: One law in MO says all fees and taxes must be paid in money (as opposed to barter goods), and the other is that the schedule of fees for the various licenses are expressed in dollars.
