Social Security is voluntary. However, if you obtain
a SSN, you are presumed to have signed on to be a
"citizen" of the corporate "United States," subject
to all the legislative statutes therein. You lose
your Sovereign Citizen status, unless you claim it.
Yes, you can opt out of SS. They do not make it
easy, but it can be done.
The SS tax and so-called "income" tax are, indeed,
voluntary, although you will not be allowed to believe
that by government.
