- Nov 12, 2012This effort will fail because these people that are begging for permission to sucede from the union are U.S citizens. Not proper state citizens therefore have no right and can only beg. The status of all of the states is that they are all corporations and children of the U.S They (the states) and not properly ratified any longer because all who reside within the state are U.S citizens. For this to even have a glimmer of hope of happening, each state must have a minimum of 60,000 state nationals. Thats what it took for a state to become a member of the union. 60000 state voters ( voting laws have changed between then and now) and at the time it was something like male land owners.Guess which state was the first to allow women to vote. Anybody? and why?Wyomingbecause there were not enough voting men in the territory to enable the territory to become a member of the union.

People in a number of corporate states petitioning/asking/begging Obama to pretty please let them go has reached 21 or 22. The signatures are increasing rapidly.
There is a lively discussion going on about this at the above link.
