The MOHU festival returns for ten days this October, celebrating the arts throughout the greater Capital Region of New York.
Beginning Friday, October 5, dozen of venues, artists, and arts organizations from all over Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga counties band together to display the strength and diversity of the cultural programming that makes this area so special. From performances to workshops, large ensembles to individual artists, and gallery openings to lectures, MOHU offers something for everyone.
This year spotlights the various geographic hotspots that make up the Capital Region, with Monday, October 8 through Thursday, October 11 each being individually focused on one of the four counties that comprise MOHU. The beginning and closing weekends will feature a tantalizing course of events at venues both big and small. A kick-off fundraising party on Thursday, October 4 will precede the festival, with all proceeds supporting MOHU. The festival wraps up with Drums Along The MOHU, which culminates in a closing celebration at the Egg that is free and open to the public.
Events will be added continuously to the MOHU website - check back regularly for updates.
Come make this year's MOHU even better than the first, and cement its status as this region's holiday for the arts.
