The Capital District has just been added to one of the hottest tours this
summer for experimental music. This may be last minute, but it will be
      wonderful and shouldn't be missed.

Impulse/Response is proud and excited to present an evening of spectacular
electro-acoustic, acoustic and musique concrete (electronic composition
      with recorded natural sounds).

Electro-Acousmatic Naturalis features a rare US performance by two of the
world's most well known electronic musicians playing solo and as a duo.
Jerome Noetinger and Lionel Marchetti are sentinels of the younger
generation of electronic musicians. They are revered by the pioneers and looked up
to by up-and-coming musicians across the globe.

They will be joined by Boston's critically acclaimed nmperign. Bhob Rainey
and Greg Kelley have been performing together as nmperign for almost 5 years
now, and in that time have gained a reputation as one of the most powerful
acoustic improvisation ensembles in the world. They have played with
everyone you can name in experimental music and maintain an ambitious 40
city a year tour schedule, as well as performances in international
      festivals.

The opening act: Troy local and Boston expatriate Seth Cluett has gained a
reputation for producing delicate sustained compositional structures. When
not playing with the Jason Martin electric band, and in Troy's burgeoning
electronic dance music scene, he is lulling audiences to a peaceful sleep
with his unique brand of electro-acoustic ambience.

Please join us for an evening of calm, thoughtful, crystalline, and engaging
sound, in the regions premiere venue for avante-garde artistic performance.
