      E-VAM INSTITUTE PRESENTS

Lu Jong: Indo-Tibetan Yoga and Meditation

      Strengthening Body and Mind

      Conducted by Felicity Lodro

      This Weekend in NYC—September 18-19

Lu Jong is the Tibetan term for `physical training' and Indo-Tibetan Yoga is about learning to integrate body and mind. This course is a truly unique combination of techniques designed by Felicity Lodro with the help of Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche. It combines traditional hatha yoga asanas, pranayama and Kum Nye self-massage, physical and breathing exercises, visualization, relaxation techniques and meditations. The techniques are designed to support tranquility and mindfulness-awareness meditation and focus on energizing the body and relaxing the mind. Traleg Rinpoche has prescribed this practice to his own students and highly recommends it to all Buddhist practitioners. These programs are suitable for both new and experienced yoga students and meditators alike. Please wear loose or stretchy clothing. If possible please bring a yoga mat and blanket.
