The TI99ers On-Line User Group is up, running and improving all the time. It can be found at

      http://www.ti99olug.org/

Included in the TI99ers On-Line User Group are the same things you would expect here and more, including the following:

      - A photo Gallery
      - Classified Ads area
      - An Auction area
      - A link to eBay TI99 listings
      - An area to remember TI99ers who have passed away
      - A private journal for those who wish one
      - A list server
      - Access to the Yahoo list server
      - A calendar
      - A forum area
      - A FAQ section
      - An encyclopedia
      - Surveys and polls
      - Your individual account setting
      - Submitting of TI99 product reviews
      - A chat room
      - Ability to send private messages
      - A guestbook
      - Feedback to webmaster
      - Submitting of TI99 news stories
      - A downloads section
      - Access to other TI99 related web sites and the TI99 Webring
      - A help desk
      - An area to honor TI99ers who have passed away
      - A Search capability
      - and more!

More functionality will be added as it becomes available. A webmail function is currently being worked on. Hopefully it will be available soon.

Please note that many of the above functions are available to OLUG registered members only. New functionally will also allow the Webmaster to remove users who are not active anymore (after they are warned of such). This will help in preventing a bloated membership and outsiders from lurking.

Please note that this new site may be difficult for the TI-99/4A or Geneve 9640 computer to negoiate properly. Ironic, isn't it? But that is the way of the Internet today. While the site may appear "busy" at first, it will become very easy to negotiate after a few times online.

If you haven't already done so, join us on the TI99ers On-Line User Group.

        Update of May 3, 2006

The TI99ers On-Line User Group can be found at:

        http://www.ti99ers.org/

        ****************************************

Updates as of may 3, 2006 include:

        - Coppermine Photo Gallery - 131 photos in six albums
        - phpMyFAQ section - 143 FAQ's in 14 categories
        - Downloads - 190 downloads in 24 categories
        - Weblinks - 105 links in 13 categories

These sections are constantly being updated. Check back frequently to see what new stuff (links, pictures, downloads and FAQ's) have been added.

TI User Groups are encouraged to add their meetings or other events to the Event Calendar so all TI99ers know what is going on in the commuity.

        ***********************
Please note that many functions are available to OLUG registered members only. The Webmaster, via a "Dead Users" module, has the ability to remove users who are not active anymore (after they are warned of such). This will help in preventing a bloated membership and help keep outsiders from lurking.

If you haven't already done so, join us on the TI99ers On-Line User Group. If there are any questions, contact me at webmaster@....
