- I know mystery man Lee makes a great atlatl, and I have one of the BPS
engineering ones, so I know they are good too. There is a guy in Sandy
Utah who makes them, and another in PA. Both are listed on
http://www.sonic.net/~quine/custom.html. You should talk to the atlatl
maker, and give him some indication of the size of your hand. The handles
and placement of the finger loops can be adjusted for hand size and its
about the most important thing you can tune because if the handle doesn't
fit your hand the atlatl won't ever be comfortable to use.
