      Christmas 2008:
BBC One - Doctor Who - The Next Doctor

The first 2 minutes of the Christmas episode "The Next Doctor" will
air in the Christmas In Need telethon on BBC One this Friday the
14th. If this is handled like Time Crash and the untitled 2005 scene,
it may be offered online for a few days afterwards, though that is
not a guarantee. Keep an eye on http://www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey to see if
      this happens.

BBC America http://www.bbcamerica.com begins its run of Series 4
tonight at 9PM EST with the first of many airings this weekend of
Voyage Of The Damned. BBC America does 46 minutes of show to the hour
vs. SciFi's 44 minutes, so in *most* cases the episodes will be more
complete then when they aired on SciFi from April to August. In
theory Voyage should have 3 more minutes while most episodes should
have 2 more minutes or be complete, depending on the original length
      of the episode.

Torchwood schedule information is included in the Torchwood This Week
      column http://groups.yahoo.com/group/torchwood .

For press releases on Doctor Who, keep an eye on the BBC Press Office
      http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice and C21 Media
      http://www.c21media.net .

Illusion TV is a service providing science fiction On Demand
programming to cable providers (no deals with satellite companies
yet). If your digital cable service has Illusion TV, all programming
is offered for free with commercials. See the website to determine if
your provider may offer this service. Based on the paucity of
information on the episodes airing, I guess they want you to get the
service before you know what you will be seeing.
