BBC Prime http://www.bbcprime.com is finally adding the new Doctor
Who to its schedule, if it's on air ads are correct. Viewers have
seen ads saying for Doctor Who saying Saturdays 1900 (or 7PM) Central
European Time starting in September. The start date is not yet
announced, and the BBC Prime FAQ still indicates that they do not
have the rights to Doctor Who at this time. Based on BBC Prime's
advanced listings for Africa on DSTV http://www.dstv.com , Doctor Who
is not airing in the next 30 days, so presumably the premiere will be
on 15, 22, or 29 September. BBC Prime serves Europe (except the UK &
Ireland), Africa, and Western sections of Asia which weren't switched
      to the BBC Entertainment service.

CBC Canada http://www.cbc.ca/television will air a repeat of Gridlock
on Monday 3 September, delaying Utopia 2 weeks to 17 September
(Doctor Who was already scheduled for pre-emption on 10 September for
a Music Awards show). CBC has opted for a repeat because they have
CFL football scheduled to run until 7:30PM Eastern Time. This would
be 8:30PM Atlantic Time (9PM Newfoundland), so Doctor Who will be
partially or completely pre-empted in those time zones that night.
The Eastern Time Zone could also be affected if the game runs long.

BBC America http://www.bbcamerica.com has put up their schedule for
Saturday 8 September and Sunday 9 September, the weekend they begin
Doctor Who Series 2 and Torchwood Series 1. Bad news for The
Christmas Invasion - it will air in a 1 hour slot, which all but
guarantees it will be an edited version (as the episode is 59 minutes
long). If they follow their standard practice for editing shows of
this length, The Christmas Invasion will be 46 minutes long if you
include the closing credits. The schedule (adjust for local time if
you are in the Central, Mountain, Alaskan, or Hawaiian time zones):
      Saturday 8 September:
6PM EDT/3PM PDT 1-13 "The Parting Of The Ways"
      7PM EDT/4PM PDT 2-00 "The Christmas Invasion"
      8PM EDT/5PM PDT 2-01 "New Earth"
      9PM EDT/6PM PDT Torchwood 1 "Everything Changes"
      11PM EDT/8PM PDT 2-01 "New Earth"
      12AM EDT/9PM PDT Torchwood 1 "Everything Changes"
      2AM EDT/11PM PDT 2-00 "The Christmas Invasion"
      Sunday 9 September:
      11AM EDT/8AM PDT 2-00 "The Christmas Invasion"
      12PM EDT/9AM PDT 2-01 "New Earth"
      3PM EDT/12PM PDT 2-00 "The Christmas Invasion"
      4PM EDT/1PM PDT 2-01 "New Earth"
      5PM EDT/2PM PDT Torchwood 1 "Everything Changes"

Doctor Who will not be airing on BBC America On Demand or on HD Net.

For press releases on Doctor Who, keep an eye on the BBC Press Office
      http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice and C21 Media
