The upcoming new Doctor Who radio stories on BBC 7 starring Paul
      McGann (beginning 31 December 2006):
Blood Of The Daleks (2 episodes)
      Horror Of Glam Rock
      Immortal Beloved
      No More Lies
      Human Resources (2 episodes, Cybermen)

Congratulations to Torchwood! The 2 episode premiere on BBC Three on
Sunday were the two most watched programmes on BBC Three since the
channel's launch - 2.378 million overnight viewers for episode 1 and
2.328 million overnight viewers for episode 2. The episodes repeat
at 9PM tonight (25 October) on BBC Two. Regular episodes will now be
Sundays at 10PM on BBC Three, with many repeats during the week on
that channel and a Wednesday 9PM airing on BBC Two. Torchwood
information will be in Torchwood This Week
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/torchwood . As mentioned last week,
Torchwood is a show designed for the post-9PM audience in the UK, as
opposed to the family audience Doctor Who is designed for -
parents/guardians should decide if the show is appropriate for their

KBS 2 South Korea resumes Doctor Who this Saturday the 28th at
      12:50PM with "The Christmas Invasion".

For South Korean fans of series 1, the FOX cable channel is reported
repeating the series at 10:50PM. I do not have full schedule
information yet or a link, but if you have that channel, check it
out. Episodes are reportedly airing in English with subtitles.

NBC Universal has sent out an advanced grid for SciFi US'
http://www.scifi.com December schedule. Series 2 of Doctor Who will
finish on the channel in December. The lineup:
      Friday 1 December 8 & 11PM Eastern - The Satan Pit, pt 2
      Friday 8 December 8 & 11PM Eastern - Love And Monsters
      Friday 15 December 8 & 11PM Eastern - Fear Her
      Friday 22 December 8AM to 4PM Eastern - 8 episode marathon
      Friday 22 December 8 & 10PM Eastern - Army Of Ghosts, pt 1
      Friday 22 December 9 & 11PM Eastern - Doomsday, pt 2
Monday 25 December 3PM Eastern - The Christmas Invasion, on
      Christmas Day

If anyone missed the 2nd airing of The Girl In The Fireplace on
SciFi US last Friday, the channel made a last minute schedule
change. Doctor Who is now airing at 8PM and 11PM Eastern (adjust for
local time and feed) instead of 8PM and Midnight Eastern. The change
is due to SciFi pulling Threshold from the 10PM timeslot, moving the
11PM repeat of Battlestar Galactica to 10PM, and adding another
Battlestar Galactica repeat at Midnight. For now, it appears the
schedule remains stable for the rest of the series, with a pre-
emption on November 24 for the Thanksgiving weekend movie marathon.
On December 22, the 2 part series finale airs complete at 8PM
Eastern, with an immediate repeat at 10PM Eastern.

CBC TV http://www.cbc.ca/television has revealed their plans for the
rest of Doctor Who Series 2. Most notable - a 5 week Christmas/New
Years vacation in the middle of the Impossible Planet/Satan Pit two-
parter. Most primetime CBC shows will be taking a vacation for the
Christmas period. The Runaway Bride (produced with series 3) and the
Torchwood series have not been scheduled yet.
      30 October - pre-empted for a miniseries
6 November - The Girl In The Fireplace
13 November - Rise Of The Cybermen, pt 1
20 November - The Age Of Steel, pt 2
      27 November - The Idiot's Lantern
4 December - The Impossible Planet, pt 1
11 December through 8 January - pre-empted for special programming
15 January - The Satan Pit, pt 2
22 January - Love And Monsters
      29 January - Fear Her
5 February - Army Of Ghosts, pt 1
      12 February - Doomsday, pt 2

UKTV Gold will start airing movie repeats of Classic Doctor Who
again starting Wednesday 1 November at 7:05AM GMT. Genesis Of The
Daleks airs from 1 to 3 November, and then Jon Pertwee stories air
in random order. Stories air Saturdays and Sundays in early morning,
with a limited weekday run through Monday 13 November. All times 1
hour later on UKTV Gold + 1.
