The 24 June premiere of "Fear Her" on BBC One had overnight ratings
of 7.66 million viewers, 43.2% of the audience watching TV at the
time. The final ratings for "Love And Monsters" on 17 June were 6.66
million viewers. The final ratings for "Fear Her" on 24 June were
      7.14 million viewers.

This weekend sees the 2nd Series begin in Australia and New Zealand
with "The Christmas Invasion" and end in the UK with the world
      premiere of "Doomsday".

Doctor Who returns to the radio! BBC 7 http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7
begins another repeat run of Doctor Who radio drama Sundays at 6PM
and Midnight starting 16 July with encore material from Big Finish
http://www.doctorwho.co.uk . The Radio Times website claims that
part 1 of 6 of "Shada (2003)" will air. On the BBC 7 message board,
they reported last week that Storm Warning begins on 16 July, with
Sword Of Orion beginning on 13 August.

BBC 7 licensed and aired 6 Big Finish Doctor Who stories with Paul
McGann last year - Storm Warning, Sword Of Orion, The Stones Of
Venice, Invaders From Mars, The Chimes Of Midnight, and Shada
(2003). It is believed that they still have the rights to repeat all
6 of those stories but that they are unlikely to buy more stories
anytime soon due to the station's budget.

Members of the British military who have been watching Doctor Who on
British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) will have to wait an
extra 7 days for the end of Series 2. BFBS is airing World Cup and
Wimbledon coverage on Sunday 9 July, pre-empting Doctor Who. Repeats
are also being pre-empted. Doomsday will presumably premiere for
military forces on Sunday 16 July. The other episodes of Series 2
premiered for UK forces 1 day after their UK premieres.

Japanese satellite station BS-2 has picked up Doctor Who to air
starting in August. Take a look at the Japanese Doctor Who logo at

Romanian station TVR has picked up Doctor Who in a collection of

The BBC Press Office http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice and C21 Media
http://www.c21media.net often announce when a Doctor Who
international sale occurs. Worth keeping an eye on, just in case.
