THIS WEEK IN DOCTOR WHO - October 29, 2003
      by Benjamin F. Elliott
      Vol 6, No 44

The schedule for The Scream Of The Shalka has come out in the last
week. Scream will be 6 episodes, premiering one per Thursday at
      12:30PM GMT on November 13. That's 7:30AM EST, 4:30AM PST, 1:30PM
CET, 2:30AM CAT (Africa), and 11:30PM AEDT. Scream Of The Shalka,
for those who forgot, is BBCi's http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/doctorwho/
animated Doctor Who story featuring Richard E. Grant as the official
      9th Doctor.

As November approaches, the 40th anniversary plans for TV stations
have become fairly clear. US TV stations airing Doctor Who will
continue their regular story rotations - no specials planned on any
US Doctor Who affiliates. UKTV Australia's November schedule should
be clear on Saturday when they finally put their November listings
online. And it's too soon to tell if any overseas stations like BBC
Prime http://www.bbcprime.com will bring the Doctor back for the
anniversary. Here's what we know of anniversary programming.

The 1996 TV Movie - Future Airings:
22 November? - 9:30AM AEDT UKTV Australia Best Of Run
      23 November - 6PM GMT UK Gold Doctor Who @ 40 Weekend

UKTV Australia's http://www.uktv.com.au Best Of Run
As of publication time, UKTV's November information was not yet
online, and info from 8 November onward is an extrapolation.
      1 November - 8AM The Deadly Assassin
      1 November - 10AM Logopolis
      8 November? - 8AM The Five Doctors
8 November? - 10AM The Caves Of Androzani
      15 November? - 8AM The Two Doctors
15 November? - 10:30AM The Trial Of A Time Lord: The Ultimate Foe

Thu 6PM GMT "The Armageddon Factor" 3 ep version, pt 2

The final segment of The Key To Time is hidden from the 4th Doctor
and Romana amidst a nuclear war between 2 worlds. To save the
universe, sometimes you have to be more evil than the bad guys.
      Sat 7:15-9AM GMT "Terminus" movie
The Black Guardian's revenge continues as the TARDIS breaks up,
forcing the crew to take shelter on a plague ship heading to the
      center of the universe.
Sat 5PM GMT "Inferno" eps 3+4 of 7
In a parallel universe, the 3rd Doctor gains evidence that the
project to find Stahlmann's gas must be halted at all costs. No one
recognizes the Doctor, and no one listens.
      Sun 7:20-9AM GMT "Enlightenment" movie
The Black Guardian sabotages a space race in a final effort to get
terrible revenge on the 5th Doctor.
Mon 6PM GMT "City Of Death" 2 ep version, pt 1
Tue 6PM GMT "City Of Death" 2 ep version, pt 2
The 4th Doctor and Romana take a road trip to Paris, where they
manage a good 10 minutes worth of vacation before having to deal
with murder, mayhem, and a plot to erase history. By my count, this
is the second longest on-screen vacation the Doctor actually manages
in the series, behind only the Doctor's portion of The Romans.
