Re: [thewonderwoman_forum] Lynda's Wonder Woman on Blue-ray?
- Well, regardless, I look at it as a good bit of news for the future of WW. Why pick the pilot which is ALREADY on DVD and was never filmed in hd? I mean, AQUAMAN pilot makes sense because it was not largely available on disc before, but WW was. It shows they are paying attention to the character FINALLY. It is because of these special features I WILL be buying JL on bluRay this time around. I am just hoping this means more WW live action is quickly getting underway rather than STILL waiting for more WW in the world.Chris H

Date: Wednesday, November 25, 2009, 8:41 PMHi Paul! That's exactly what I figured when I read the release that it would be in SD. I figured it would be WAY too much to expect that it would be in HD. One can only hope... I would upgrade my series to Blu-ray in a heartbeat!MaxIn a message dated 11/25/2009 2:20:24 A.M. Pacific Standard Time, paulsubscribed@ gmail.com writes:
According to David Lambert at tvshowsondvd. com, the Blue-ray Special Edition of the direct-to-video, DC Universe Animated Original Movie, "Justice League - Crisis on Two Earths," will contain "...the pilot episode of the classic 1976 Wonder Woman (previously available on the first season set)..."
Interesting choice for a bonus feature. Maybe Warner is testing the waters for a possible Blue-ray release of the live-action series! Oh, just think! Lynda in all her HD glory!
Unfortunately, this is assuming that the pilot is even presented in HD (Lambert's info didn't reveal); lots of HD releases have SD bonus material -- and if that's the case here, how pointless. Time will tell.
