      Hi All,

      Flag Promotions proudly presents

Blaine L. Reininger (TUXEDOMOON) – extremely rare UK appearance

A founding member of the legendary American post-punk group Tuxedomoon (Ralph
Records, Crammed Discs, Les Disques du Crepuscule), Blaine L. Reininger's solo
discography comprises no less than some 16 solo albums, extending well over two
decades. Ranging from the synthpop noir of his masterpiece `Night Air', to the
      swirling
acoustic romanticism of his collaborations with fellow Tuxedomooner Steven
      Brown, to the
increasingly cinematic and dadaesque songscapes of his recent work, Reininger's
      diverse
output has consistently pushed the creative envelope. With a new solo album soon
      to be
released, and performing his first UK solo date in 10 years,
      multi-instrumentalist
Reininger will be accompanied by Tuxedomoon's visual artist George Kakanakis for
      what
will undoubtedly be a truly historic event.

`Virtually a one-man band, he creates a panoramic spread of violin, viola,
      mandolin,
keyboards, guitar and programmed beats.' – The Wire

`…the source of Tuxmoon's arch camp : keyboards, machine rhythms, lead violin
      and very
Jack Bruce vocals suggestive of the dansant disco, menacing fairground music,
      outlandish
latin pop tunes, calliopes slewing out of control…' – Time Out

      Imbeciles and the Poison Umbrella

      `…politically charged Eastern European electro-punk-hop' – Rocksound

`Pay attention, because you sure as hell won't be able to ignore them when they
      head your
      way' – Unpeeled

      Cult With No Name

`Serious contenders for the crown Scott Walker's yet to abdicate. A gem of a
      band.' – Flag

`Lush acoustic pioneers' – Mark Moore
