- In regards UT - I seem to remember that they played around the Lower
East Side/Tribeca NYC scene in the very early 80's, though I don't
think that I actually saw them.
In regards Mofungo. I wouldn't refer to them as Elliot Sharp's
band. Mofungo was Willie Klein, Robert Sietsema, Jeff McGovern, Seth
Gunning and A.C. Chubb.
NYRocker magazine (and also the Soho Weekly News) were probably the
best in documenting the scene in the late 70s/early 80's if anyone
had archives of those publications. Either that or someone knows how
to contact either Alan Betrock or Andy Schwartz and ask them if they
