Welcome to The Stabler Family: Christopher Meloni and Isabel Gillies, actors who portrayed Detective Elliot Stabler and his wife, Kathy, on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit from 1999 until 2011 after 12 seasons.



Elliot and Kathy had been married for over twenty years, surviving separation, several injuries, five children, and Elliot retiring from Special Victims Unit. They are the parents of Maureen, Kathleen, Richard ('Dickie'), Elizabeth, and Eli. The Yahoo group has extended it's family tree branch to Bernadette, Elliot's mother.

In May of 2011, Christopher decided not to continue on with SVU and to do other projects. In 2009, Isabel released her first memoir, 'Happens Every Day' and in 2011 released the follow-up, 'A Year and Six Seconds' and in 2014 her first young adult novel 'Starry Night'. Isabel is currently working on another book
