*** New animation! ***
I've made a new animation for Halloween. It's called 'The Itch' and continues my yearly tradition of trying to spook the hell out of everyone:

It is also available as an audio-only download for free in my shop:

I'm always interested in feedback, so tell me what you think! Also, please tell your friends on Facebook, Digg, and other sites about my animation - I need your support to get it known!
*** Year round-up ***
I've been living, and teaching games design, in the Netherlands at NHTV University for the last year, I've bought a house, I've adopted a cat from an animal shelter (she isn't called Mittens but she is just as insane and I think she can smell my brains)... And I've still not had time to edit my novel. This is getting beyond a joke!
My Dutch is not particularly good yet, but I'm trying.
Life is bloomin' brilliant, and I hope you're having fun too!
*** Webcomic ***
The Matazone webcomic, Trouble Down Pit, is still up and running. There are over 400 strips on there and new ones are added every Monday and Friday.
It sometimes covers events from my daily life but just as often comprises of silly jokes and cute things. Check it out!

*** Short stories ***
If you want some more spooky stories then try the downloads over here:
http://www.matazone.co.uk/shop/index.php?cPath=28
They're not recommended for kids, but if you fancy a horror 5 minute horror story on your iPod/MP3 player then give them a try.
*** Forums ***
The Matazone forums have been up and running for over eight years and lots of old faces have been coming back on there recently, so if you haven't visited for a while then now would be a great time to pop in again:

*** Until next time... ***
Last time I signed off saying 'it might be Halloween 2011 before I write again' and it turned out to be true - finding time to animate is very hard these days. Supporting students and planning courses is very time consuming but incredibly satisfying.
These days the webcomic is the part of my site that gets updated most regularly (twice a week), so if you're looking for a regular Matazone fix then make sure you're reading there.
As I said above, life is good, and I hope you're having a good time too. Thanks for reading!
Have fun,
Mata
