Nilar glared at Xeolen and then Galan, hating them both equally for
their words. The reason for his contempt for Xeolen was quite plain,
but as for Galan, it was the nature of his suggestion. Elves: there
was not one race on Middle Earth that Nilar despised more. He would
never admit the elf in his blood.
"Elves!" he snorted, "All the advice elves ever give are cryptic
clues and myths, neither of which we need now!"
He paced the small dark room for a moment. He knew all too well that
going to see the elves would be the best thing to do. Perhaps he'd
get to kill a few while he was there though?there was always an
      upside to things.
"But I suppose if they give us any nonsense I could beat a proper
answer from them," he said, admitting this small defeat.
"Yet how are we to find the elves?"

Galan stopped, he didn't ;ike this Nilar fellow. He himself was
raised by elves. He knew they were wise. Yes they often spoke in
riddles, but all that meant was that you needed a brain to figure what
      they said.
Galan turned, he thought of going on alone. He could make it out of
the forrest in several days giving him a head start on the others.
But once he reached Mordor he knew nothing. He turned back, he was
stuck with these companions whether he liked it or not.
"Lothlorien is that way." was all he said as he pointed to the west.

OOC: I'm not sure which forest we're in really! I suppose it could be
Fangorn, then we're not that far from Lothlorien or Gondor/Rohan.
      What does everyone think?

I was thinking of Mirkwood, but Fangorn will work.

        ooc: sorry for the delay!

ic: Gwen was not at all opposed to going to Lothlorien. She enjoyed
spending time with the elves. Her only concern was that the elves of
the Golden Wood would not allow such an evil thing to pass their
borders. And she wasn't only concerned about the ring... she had a
feeling Nilar would cause problems as well.

"Do you really think the elves will help us Galen? This is a great
evil we have unearthed, and it is likely that they will want nothing
to do with it." Unfortunately, she didn't have an alternative
        solution.

        ooc: sorry it was short!

Then I guess all we can do is find out, snapped Nilar. He wanted out of this place, back to somewhere safe. He wanted all of this to have been a bad dream

            OOC: Sure, I'd be interested.
