Although McMurtry knew about Karl Germer's death from the Burlingames
since 1963, in Court he lied about that several times. Apart from my
previous postings, here another incident:
Court Transcript McMurtry vs. Motta,13 May 1985, page 135:
Q [Lawyer]. When did you move to Washington, D.C.?
A [McMurtry]. In 1961.

A. Absolutely none, because there were no other OTO members except, of

Q. How long did you keep in contact with them?
A. At least until 1962. We have letters until then. After that, I

BY MR. MITTEL:
Q. The first contact you did have with anybody was when Miss Seckler

Q. In fact, in that letter, didn't she wonder if perhaps you had
committed the burglary?
A. Yes. She asked me: Did you do it? So I took a look at my
finances. I said, "This is impossible." What is going on?
1) why did McMurtry lie in Court?
2) why did he first have to look at his finances in order to know
whether it was himself who did the burglary?
