adds a Scarlet Woman to his harem of accomplices?

there are enough sources including recent and in
correspondence identifying Crowley's referent to
the Jesuits or at least to Christians. Crowley
was interested in portraying 'adepts' of the
Christian edifice as failures. we might wonder why,
given his own Christian upbringing and magical

turning the condemnation of himself upon others may
have seemed like quaint revenge to Crowley. he was
often enough portrayed by media and religious
exponents as an evil. why would he think himself
convincing except to his ignorant cultists to now
turn the same tool upon his hated targets. enough
Crowleyans purport the "foolishness" of Waite after
Crowley's obviously envious diatribes that we can
see he may have succeeded in his revenge attempt.
a very shallow and peurile victory on his part.

true enough. Crowley's pointing often comes to
abject negation of that which he opposes, and
he uses that same Method of Religion to pursue
even that which he justifies as 'scientific'.

the same thing is evident in Crowley and in
his followers: mindless and mindnumbing diatribes
against the hated enemy and rivalled author/artist.
not all his fans are like this, naturally.

one may contrast this with the use of Laudanum
or with 'Erotocomatose Lucidity' by Crowley.

the metaphors, the poetry, are worthy of
consideration. where they do not become dual
prods of demonization and angelification i
can understand their virtue longterm.
Sandi quoting large amounts of text by James
V. Marco (who has recently joined T93-L): and
> I will mention a profound truth; a person cannot
> understand WHO they are until they realize WHERE
> they are. A person cannot understand WHERE they
> are without understanding WHO'S WHO IN DUALITY.
I don't understand this as a profound truth. where
one is in the sense of society does take orientation
to a 'who is who' mundane evaluation. identity is
in this sense importantly social. the question of
'who are you?' is "profound" only in the sense
that it leads to recursion, reflection, and the
development which may result thereby (as by the
disciplined focus of meditation).
> I would agree that the Book of the Law was
> extracted from Source, or Crowley's higher self....
I see no evidence of this, nor that any such self
exists or is given expression or prominence by Crowley.
in fact i think his Book is a proto Satanic Bible,
a bauble of intentional leverage in which the
Judaiphilic Freemasonic society which Crowley
sought to ensconce himself for his legitimacy
could be tweaked. he sought in many ways to achieve
this tweaking or endorsement, and his Lawbook was
just one of these ways (perhaps evidencing a
love-hate relationshp with society in general).
> I mention Osho's statement; "Start knowing what
> you really know, and stop believing what you
> really don't know. False knowing is the enemy

they aren't knowledge at all, it is true.
belief is a kind of wish-based certitude that can
be used to reach certain mental conclusions that
can manifest in life along volitional vectors.
it makes itself cultishly known in the Gnostic
Mass where Thelema is concerned and its 'Creed'
said by 'the People'. one might analyze this.
> ...Nearly every tradition has a prophesy that
> this will occur in the next few years... ....
nonsense and fabrications. millenial cults seek
to spread these kinds of lies, but the reality is
that only certain religious utilize prophecy and
these are projected on the cults of the world
without a basis in reality so as to mobilize
consciousness toward certain transmutations.
the Method of Religion incorporates falsity and
what is promoted as 'profound truth' and 'fact'
is the propagandistic tool of the zealot. the
mention of apocalypse is therefore proper in
this light and emphacized by those such as
Crowley and others who have an interest in
promoting such catalyzed consciousness. usually
i presume that the individual issuing these
kinds of stimulation seeks it themself and has
to work through the experience of others based
on some kind of self-bound state of operation.
zealous expression has consistent bases.
> ...I realized that the story of John's Revelation
> was dreamlike in composition.
<snip whole batches which have nothing whatever
to do directly with Thelema>
there are contentions (i don't know how realistic)
that it was composed under the infuence of
psychedelic mushrooms. any takers to this theory?
too many gullible people believe that gospels and
religious diatribes are by known authors when in
fact the bulk of these old documents are by authors
who to our eyes are effectively anonymous.
