Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
I am a new person to this list and have enjoyed the conversations that
have been happening over the last couple of days. Thank you.
I have seen "old" members and members the like debating about the future
of the O.T.O. You know, 13 years ago I "saw" the O.T.O but never chose
to "partake". The O.T.O. I was seeing at the time ended up being
closed after 6 or so years of watching it collapse. I firmly believe it
is not the Order that is at fault here. I believe that it is the
expectations of its members, those members that are finding difficulties
haven't found the "right" place yet.
Let's be frank here. Anyone can pick apart a plan. Someone will always
have a different idea.
After watching a Lodge crumble, after "knowing" a Man is just a man. I
am all good with the Order. What is the "true philosophy" of the Order?
This is what "I feel," Thelema is about, Freedom.
Freedom of choice.
I am a Gardnerian witch after 13 years and I "do" understand the
philosophy of Thelema. I do embrace it with all my heart. I have had
wonderful moments. All I can say to those who have left the Order and
who are still on the list...Were you looking for change or were you
looking for a change? Therein lies the difference.
Love is the Law, love under will.
