"Yes, hum, seems that the hallucinations and megalomania produce a
form of us vs. them paranoia. A classic pitfall...no one else has MY
revelation, I AM the child of the beast, only I can read the runes of
my father aright...thinking like a little shit..."Real" levels of
Thelema most likely only exist on the Atziluthic levels, the level of
Hallucinations? Really! First off, it seems to me that Liber Legis
Itself, and not so ambiguously, tells us that a "follower" of Crowley
(i.e. one who follows Him) must reveal certain things others aren't
witness to. This neither makes him special or glorified: it is a
task he must tend to. "A classic pitfall"? He doesn't fall into any
pit by doing what he has been sent to accomplish. In point of fact,
he has to toil tremendously, against alot of naysayers, simply to get
his very little point across. And no check is in the mail. Being
the "child of the beast" means a helluva lot of nothing, except a
great deal of work. I know that I have been very privileged to
witness a dozen or so unbelievable things, all very much immaterial,
yet this only impacts posterity inasmuch as it implants in me the
tools to build a message of some importance to Crowleydom. And
Crowleydom is extremely important, I cannot emphasize it enough.
Condemn religion with all your might, all you're really condemning is
religion as you've seen it demonstrated thus far. And there is a
better, more efficient way.
And no, I don't think that "Real Thelema" exists on the Atziluthic
level alone -- not by any means. Crowley is the best expositor of
Thelema, in my opinion, and He insists that religion is integral.
Why? Because the Highest is only Most High if and when It stoops
down to lift up the lowest. The chiefest obligation of any A.'.A.'.
Member is to his inferiors. The Masters of the Great White
Brotherhood (and I very much believe in Them, as did Crowley) go to
every length, and exhaust the depths of Their patience, in service to
humanity. I know so, as I am the blindest and most stubborn of Their
charges, and yet They have gone to great lengths to assist me, even
through my woes and wailings.
Why must the Witnesses of Truth suffer so much rejection? Perhaps
because others hold onto their fixed views, and think that anyone who
claims to know the answers to puzzling questions, who might lead the
way to greener pastures, must be a megalomaniac? Even if nothing is
to be gained thereby, except maybe an acceptance of views which
cannot possibly benefit the so-called megalomaniac.
In my case, there is no megalomania, in fact so far as I am
concerned, there is mega-nothing. For I am by no means the author of
my own solutions. I cannot solve a thing. My machinations aren't
contrived. They're the result of a Loftier Mind, for which I can
claim no credit myself except for the minimal effort it takes to
propound them. Which is precisely why I ask for nothing in return.
Just consideration, for sake of the message alone.
Love All, ALEISTERION
