your concern is of course warranted, and yet aren't there
'systems' associated with certain A.A.'s that might be
compared and contrasted, related in fact one to another,
completely ignoring for the moment the personal origin of
said system or its effectiveness? if so, subsequent data
pertaining to those aspirants using the proffered systems
might be compared for successful or unsuccessful results
subsequent to its adoption/use.
toss out the gossip, and is there anything which may be
identified as 'an A.A. system' proposed by early occultists
which might be traced back to predecessors or identified
as to its prototypes and comparable composition, content,
one might compare an examination of 'Buddhism' and its
various historical trajectories, components, theories,
and the people who advanced any particular method(s).
