#101 was also my "first time", but I had bought that issue for my sister while she was away working at a summer camp. After reading that and issue #102,

I first encountered Dr. Midnite (Charles McNider) in a JLA/JSA crossover in the late 1960s/early 1970s. I think it was JLA #64, the storyline which introduced

It was the original Dr. Charles McNider. First discovered him in the All Star Comics drawn by Joe Stanton back in the 70s and then All Star Squadron.

Who was the first Dr. Mid-Night / Dr. Midnight you ever read about?

I was going to this as a poll, but this group doesn't seem to offer that option? Anyway, when you first read a story with the character "Dr. Mid-Nite" or
