RE: [thehugsproject_annex] Re: Helmet liners
- I was not promoting this web site, just trying to assist this person with
some crochet patterns and information regarding the helmet liners, such as
dimensions of the helmet liners. I could not find very much assistance with
crochet items when I first joined as most of you used the nifty knitter. I
am sorry for any confusion I might have caused in directing her to this web
***No problem, Mary, I just wanted everyone to know what's what and not think we're endorsing the way she takes credit for the work others do. That's just not right. ~K~

The main thing that makes our group different from this one is that we
allow or members to ship directly to the troops with their own info
attached. Ellen requires you to ship your items to her and attach her
label so that the troops never know that you are also supporting
them. The thank you for your work should come to YOU not to Ellen.
Another major difference is that she requires you to pay postage to
ship your items to her and then requests that you also "donate" to her
(she's NOT a non profit) & pay the postage on over. Feel free to use
those patterns if you like them but please don't get sucked into
sending her your items.
