Camping with the cat!!!
- Well, our kitty cat is NOT a camper!!!! We got there Thur eve and it
was POURING rain and we got soaked as we set up the camper. Since we
have one of the travel trailer hybrids, both ends are beds that pop
out so we had to get them set up.
The cat was freaked out by the sound of the rain on the camper (it's
LOUD) and spent the ENTIRE night roaming around, walking on us,
meowing. He was NOT happy. And we got NO sleep at all! Then, he
discovered that if he pushed and shoved on the velcro that holds the
pop out beds secure along the bottom, that he could get it loose!
At about 4:30 AM DH caught him half way out! SO - we had to keep a
constant eye on him. At around 5:30 AM Friday morning, we got up, had
coffee, grabbed a quick bite to eat, and loaded the cat up in his
carrier and brought his butt home!!! There was no way we could keep
him with us, since he figured out a way to get out! So, the cat will
NOT be camping with us again!!!
- LOL! My cat got trapped in my camper overnight once and she almost clawed the screen of the camper trying to get out. So I know she is not a camper.Joyce
