- Feb 11, 2013Hi John,
While I was in high school year 9 in 1996, term four was devoted to doing film studies. One of the films we could have studied was 'Clueless'. However the class choise 'Farris Buller's Day Off'.
We had limited time so we only really had time to watch the film and make a few observations otherwise I would have loved to study 'Clueless'.
With 'Clueless' we could have made reference to Jane Austin's 'Emma' on which the film is loosely based. We could have gone on for hours about how beautiful and talented Brittany Murphy is. I wonder if anyone has done essays on her beauty and acting talent, or year 12 studies?
In any case I'd love to do some research into Brittany Murphy and or be one of the first to do an essay or something similair on her. After you of course John.
Alicia Silverstone wasn't in many other films. For 'Excess Baggage' she had the company 'First Kiss' productions which sounds great to me. Although the only first kiss I'd want off anyone is Brittany Murphy, but can no longer happen. It's a pity. While Brittany's career went on, the last film I saw Alicia Silverstone in was 'The Art of letting Go'. I know i'd rather watch Brittany and think of her often.
I'd love to have been in a movie or theatre show with her. It would have to be a love story and live happily ever after. It would be a box office success, but movies don't seem to be doing so well these days. Although a Brittany Murphy movie is always wanted and appeciated by me and everyone else here.
From John
