Ptolemy (2nd century AD) had Tanzania (then called Azania) under Saturn and Aquarius.
The quake occurred with Moon and Neptune in tropical Aquarius, opp Saturn in Leo. If you
want to say that in Ptolemy's time he would have been using the constellation figures rather than
the tropical signs, there would still have been Neptune in Aquarius, because the Water-Pourer's
left arm stretches out over the Sea-Goat, and so the earliest Aquarius star (actually a dwarf galaxy)
is at (tropical) 10 Aquarius 43.
At the quake Neptune aligned with the Saturn Nebula in the Water-Pourer's outstretched left hand
(now 15 Aquarius 13).
