      #2. the new band is yamamoto, a female drummer, a
      keyboardist, a 2nd guitarist and a bass player. they
      played 2 songs... the first one was new (probably on
      the new record) then a 40 minute version of the last
      song on "...fuzzy groove"... the one that ooioo
      called "mountain book". it was very intense, very
      amazing, very captivating. i saw him 2x... once in a
      small club in kyoto and then in a larger club in tokyo
      a week later.

      i talked to him after the show, rovo might be back in
      the usa soon, but who knows. he complained of trouble
      with distribution of "fuzzy groove", it has been in
      the can for a while before he could get it put out
      (which is really unfortunate seeing as how critical
      his sound was to the boredoms). he's recording a new
      most record... lots of chit chat, he's a total
      sweetheart.
