      Subject: Yahoo's at it Again!

Yahoo is using "web beacons" to track your Internet activity. To
      *opt OUT*
of their electronic snooping, do the following:

      1) Go to

      http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/us/pixels/details.html

      2) Scroll down the middle of the page, under "Outside the Yahoo!
Network," and click on the tiny link that says, "Please click
      here
      to
      opt-out."

      3) When you click on the link, you will receive a page that
says, "You have opted out successfully."

      4) While on the opt out page in Step 3, do *NOT* click on
      the "Cancel
Out" button that says, "If you would like to cancel your opt-out
request, you may do so by clicking the button below." If you do
click that button, you will have completely voided Steps 2-3,
      i.e.,
you have told Yahoo to use web beacons on you.

Furthermore, Yahoo allows www.doubleclick.com (an advertising
company) to track you too. To get their noses out of your
      business,
      do the following:

      1) Go to

      http://www.doubleclick.com/us/corporate/privacy/privacy/ad-cookie

      2) Scroll down to the absolute bottom of the screen, and click
      on
      the
big red bullseye button titled "Ad Cookie Opt-Out."

      3) You should then receive a confirmation page saying, "Privacy:
      Opt-
      Out: Opt-out completed successfully."

You may want to clean out your cookies frequently and to repeat
      both
of these opt-outs every now and again to refresh the
      information.
