      of GLBT Equal Rights. Tell the Connecticut Legislature that you
      SUPPORT equal marriage rights for same-sex couples.

      This Saturday (may 8) is the Annual Postal Service Food Drive. Just
      leave non-perishable food in non-glass containers by your mailbox and
      your kind mail carrier will pick it up. All food collected is
      donated to local food banks.

        Connecticut Council for Philanthropy seeks a Program Associate.
        This is a full-time position at the Connecticut Council for
        Philanthropy, a statewide nonprofit association of independent,
        family, corporate, public and community foundations, corporate giving
        programs and federated funds. Its mission is to promote and support
        effective philanthropy for the public good in Connecticut.

        The Program Associate will provide administrative and program support
        to the staff of the Council.

        Qualifications: well organized, good interpersonal skills, excellent
        communication skills, both written and oral ability to juggle many
        tasks at one time, while maintaining attention to detail and follow-
        through with minimal supervision, willingness to do some travel
        within the state, computer skills: word-processing, spreadsheet
        database software (Word, Excel, Access) and willingness to learn,
        comfortable with the Internet, sense of humor. Salary Range: low
        $30's.
