      Is there any weight or evidence for this supposition? As a Greek reader, I can see how this could be possible.
      Tregelles uses this idea to state that the the 2 letters of John listed in the Muratorian Fragment are 1 & 3.

      There is internal evidence that 2 and 3 John were written to the same church, in the same general time frame. So it s stretching it to say that 2 John would

        There is internal evidence that 2 and 3 John were written to the same church, in the same general time frame. So it's stretching it to say that 2 John would have become attached to 1 John without 3 John.
