      Dear Friends / Dear Isaías

Some years ago I wrote a PhD thesis (at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - BH / MG - BR) and a postdoc work (at the Universidade de São Paulo - SP - BR) about this Greek ms.
If you have interest in knowing more about it, just let me know.

I am a new member of this group. My name is Isaias
(english - Isaiah). I am 34 years old, and am reformed
pastor and member of the Latin American Theological
Fellowship. (www.ftl.org. br). I live in Brasília, the
      federal capital of Brazil.

For the knowledge of the members of the group:

The most ancient manuscript of Latin America belongs
to the Rio de Janeiro National Library. It is a
twelfth-century parchment codex, wrintten in greek
      minuscules, which contains four gospels.

It was donated to that instituition in 1912, by Joao
Pandia Calogeras, a well-know Brazilian intellectual
and politician with a Greek origen.

In 1953, based on pieces of information given by Bruce
Metzger, Kurt Aland cataloged it, ascribing the number
      2437 to it.
