Here are a couple of questions about the Sinaitic Syriac, related to
the discussion about Mark 16:9-20. The answers should be easy to
find, provided that the requisite resources are available.
(1) In the Sinaitic Syriac MS (*not* the online transcript), how
long is the space between the end of Mark 16:8 and the beginning of
Lk. 1? Does Luke start at the top of a column? Does Luke start on
the same page that Mark 16:8 stops on?
(2) In Aleph and B and L, the last line ends in -TOGAR. Could be
coincidental. Does the text in the Sinaitic Syriac MS similarly
divide the Syriac equivalent of "efobounto"?
