      Regarding a new edition of the Old Latin of John they write:
      "Dr Philip Burton and Professor David Parker are leading a team to produce a new critical edition of the Old Latin witnesses for St John's Gospel. This will be published under the imprint of the Vetus Latina Institut in Beuron and also in an electronic version. The first stage, the Verbum project, was to make new electronic transcriptions of all surviving manuscripts. This is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Board of Great Britain, and comes to its conclusion in September 2005. The second element is the transcription and incorporation of the evidence from patristic citations. A funding bid for this work is in preparation."
