Magnetic fields on each side of a 666 machine phase. Note the difference in timings, about 50 degrees calculated from relative voltages of sensors by the law of cos. The middle segment of the 666 machine columns is designed to repel the magnetic fields of the outer phase endings, but this in itself should not effect the timings of the magnetic fields exiting on the polar endings of the phase itself.
Next we must ask,"well, which of these magnetic fields is correct? The larger amplitude one?" Since these magnetic fields are obtained from coil sensors, (the larger 2.4 H,140 ohm,23 gauge secondaries), the signal that is 90 degrees out of phase with the primaries source voltage should be the correct one. This can be gleaned by taking a dual channel scoping of both the source voltage and the secondary voltage.
