18 becomes 3rd Corner in Isolation in 4th Quadrant.
The method is to make eight layerings of eight appear as four
layerings of 16. However conventionally laid square windings will have
one side adjacent to the next side in the layer unless diagonally laid
as in an odd magic square. This quadratic even magic square winding of
64 has the option of not meeting an adjacent winding until after 16
winds, whereby the next move winding of 17 will be adjacent to the
former wind of 14, but the next move of 18 is held in isolation in
reference to future moves adjacent to it predicted by the squares of
seven of nine code.
These 20 moves are the only moves that need to be memorized, as after
this everything is determined by code. A vertical code of 33 will next
be used to re-enter the former 3rd quadrant retracing former moves so
that they add vertically to 33. An exception to this rule is found
after re-entering the first quadrant, where another overlap of
isolation is found.
