OMG, If you haven't heard HELLOWEEN, you haven't heard Power Metal.
They're the best band to come out of Germany (if not Europe) for
decades. Their KEEPER OF THE SEVEN KEYS has got to be one of the best
metal albums of all time. When people think of German Metal, they
automatically think of SCORPIONS, but Helloween can eat them for
breakfast...they just haven't done the relentless touring that
Scorpions has done (I saw them live here last week--Scorpions that
is, with Tesla--AND Kim Donovan!!! For free--except for that $190
      speeding ticket I got afterwards).

THANKS again for the props. Here in LV, I work for Rainforest Cafe at
the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, a pretty good gig, normally $100 or
more a night. Getting old fast, though, I'm looking at House of
Blues, Margaritaville, or just bailing out of the States and teaching
English in the Orient, like Mr. Baerhold.

You're SURE that 'eyeless girl' photo has no copyright? I really hope
      so...I'd love to use it.

Spain gave you a tan? You must've been to Torremolinos. I too have
been fondled by France, back in the day...
      SEHR GUT!!!
      K.K.

in the music hall and he told me last week that they just had a
bartender quit, and one may be getting fired soon, so check it out
asap. Also don't forget to apply over at Wynn online. I went for my
cattle call first interview yesterday, call back interviews are
sometime in February. They will be doing a lot of hiring, and it will
be union. My instructor at the union bartending school told us last
week that they are going to add more towers until it forms the shape
of the letter W. You'll be making $14.90 an hour plus tips if you get
in there, and they have great medical/dental benefits that is no
additional cost (union dues are $40 a month).

Hmm. What's wrong with serving people poison? The world is suffering
from overpopulation anyway.By law, you're never supposed to serve a
known alcoholic or any visibly intoxicated person. You're in control
of that. I would have cut you off if I were the bartender at Tailspin
last month, but I don't think they crack down on how much they serve
people, as I had way too many chocolate cake shots,in a short amount
of time. When my roommate's friend ordered another round, I told the
bartender I had enough, and he still kept trying to get me to do
more, but I didn't. And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it
Rainforest Cafe which has a menu item of Venicen and rabbit, AKA "the
Bambi and Thumper special?" Not only bad for Bambi and Thumper, but
think of the cholesterol levels of your customers.... And I do
believe that you serve drinks there as well. Anyway, I'm sure they're
also hiring regular food servers which are covered under the same
union, I'm not sure what their base pay is, but you should check it
out. Wynn is hiring in pretty much every department, so check out
their website. Well, time to hit the gym....

OK, you're wrong, Rainforest has no such item. We only slaughter
animals bred for it, and fish. And yeah, the cholesterol levels of my
guests are way too high...but as a bartender, you're allowed to cut
people off. As a waiter, I can't say "You're FAT, and I'm cutting you
              off!"

I've gone to bars all over the world, normally to get intoxicated,
and guess how many bartenders ever cut me off? Two. The other ones
apparently just wanted to rake in the tips.

(The other reason I wouldn't want to bartend is 'cause you're like a
rat in a trap behind that bar, unable to go anywhere, bouncing around
from point A to point B even worse than a waiter.)

BTW, where is Wynn hiring from? You said you had to cross Flamingo or
              something to apply...

LOL well, if people keep trying to file frivolous lawsuits against
restaurants for making them fat, eventually it will be mandated that
only certain people of a certain size can order the "Death by
Chocolate" at Bennigans unless they sign a waiver stating that they
are aware of the calorie, fat, and cholestorol count they are about
to consume and the medical and asthetic consequences they are likely
                to suffer as a result.
As far as Wynn, go to http://wynnlasvegas.com
to do your online resume. There is a drop down list of positions they
are hiring for throughout the hotel/casino. When you get finished
filling out everything on line they will give you a calendar to
select a day for your first interview. When you go to the interview,
you will not go to the construction site on the strip. Instead they
have a trailer set up at Industrial Rd and Hotel del Rio underneath
the overpass on your right side (if you're heading south on
                Industrial).
