Hi Julian and all, I have 6", 8" and 10" Dobsonians and use them often. It is a massive change in light-gathering power going from the 6 to the 10 but not firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi Julian, I agree with those who suggested and upgrade to a 10 inch Dob. I have an old Hardin beauty, and it is excellent. Large enough to give goodrocketeer1967
I have 3 scopes: an 8” f/8, 10” f/5 and 16” f/6. The 8” gives killer views of planets, the 16” is awesome, but my favorite is my 10”. The 16” email@example.com
