Is Wil Wheaton a geek? Well, he doesn't appear to be one in the sense
that technical people might use the term. But in the sense of someone
obsessed with a weird culture and a strange community of people who
require that you perform and be engrossed in esoteric activities
irrelevant to the normal world, then yes, he is. Oh, and Wheaton's
also into the Star Trek cosmos.

The material is frequently amusing, and sometimes poignant. There
isn't much poetry in the writing but it is readable. Otherwise,
however, there doesn't seem to be an awful lot of point to the work
unless you are consumed with a passion for a) Wil Wheaton, b) Star
Trek trivia, or c) the mind of an actor who hasn't worked much
recently. The book appears to chronicle his increasing involvement in
blogging (writing an ongoing online diary), Web design (sort of), and
the writing of his previous book.

      Your interest level may vary.
