      I'm not sure what a red squirrel is but nothing is too small to process.  I prefer the smaller animals myself, haven't gotten the courage up to do deer, elk, etc.  I have done everything from raccoons and foxes to ground squirrels and mice.  I find it an enjoyable challenge.  Have fun and let me know how they turn out.
