I don't recall any sisters or brothers of hers being mentioned, but now that I think of it I do recall that there may have been more of a relation with the Sadrakula person than friendship. My dad, Walter Pacosz, was the one in his family who kept in touch with people and he may have been doing so with Sadrakula for my grandmother who did not drive and did not speak English. Is that Illinois address near St. Louis? The family stayed in St. Louis after being run out of Leadwood in 1917. Thank you! Christina Pacosz

I mentioned in my previous post of Wojciech Sadrakula, who lived in Desloge. It just so happens I have a copy of the death certificate of his nephew Teofil. Teofil was married three times, the last being to Martha Holody. Could she be related to Ewa?

Janina Pacosz was. She was my paternal aunt. Here is a link to an article about her and what happened to her. http://www.fieralingue.it/corner.php?pa=printpage&pid=3934 Christina Pacosz

For instance, I found a Bernard Pacosz listed in what appears to be a Catholic orphanage in West Conshohocken Borough, PA. He was listed as 9 years old. There were quite a number of children listed. The names of several nuns were listed, which caused me to believe this may have been an orphange. .

      > > > > Andrzej and Francizka (Francis, Fanney) entered the USA through Windsor, Canada on March 2, 1919. They apparently had 5 children, but I only have the names of 3. Julia was born in Canada, but the rest were born in the U.S. Andrew listed his occupation as a baker when he arrived in Detroit. In 1920 they lived on 1247 25th St, Detroit, but the name showed up as Sadrakula. In the 1923 Detroit city directory they lived at 4239 Kinsman St. The last name was listed as Sadrak. Julia was born in 1918. She became a nun and past away a couple of years ago. Her brother Stanislaus died in the Pacific and is buried in the American Cemetery in the Phillipines. I believe he died October 1, 1943. The department of the NAVY shows his last name as Sadrakulski. His mother was listed as Francis Sudryk, 4422 Junction St, Detroit. Perhaps his father died and his mother remaried or the last name was misspelled. Fancis was from Obertyn-Horodenka Stanislawow, Poland. Maybe Andrew was from the same town. Does this sound like the family you are looking for?
