The E-smith Server and Gateway software package, when installed on a PC-compatible computer, transforms it into a polished, easy-to-use communications server. When you connect the E-smith Server and Gateway to the Internet and to your network, it provides your company with essential network services. The E-smith Server and Gateway is actually a modified version of Red Hat Linux: E-smith has simplified the standard Linux distribution by making all the configuration decisions in advance, such as which server packages to run, how permissions and security should be set, how the disk should be partitioned, how the directories should be organized, and so on. The installation procedure is 100 percent automated, and an attractive Web-based user interface has been added. In just a few minutes, you'll have a perfectly configured Linux server, which you can administer from your Windows desktop. This program is distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL. This update is now based on Redhat 6.1 with updated RPMs and drivers, support for virtual domains and IMAP, and the ability to add additional local networks.

Two][Slick "Outstanding Product!"
This is a GREAT Linux distro! If you want to make a compter a gateway, web server, file server, or any combination, this is the one for you! This one has all the needed programs to make a great server without all of the extra fluff the other distros have. I just wish this one installed a default firewall to stealth its ports from the Internet. Otherwise... I love it.
