This is really strange to get adverts on this list. I belong to 5 others on Yahoo and none of the others have adverts on them. What is the deal here? Bernie

There are several lists that include text ads with emails, including the
South Bend lathe and 9X20Lathe groups. If you don't have HTML enabled
in your Yahoo profile, the ads are limited to several lines of text,
easily ignored. If you read on group you end up gettings ads with each
message you read. I haven't gotten any ads on the emails from the
Taigtools group today, but have on the above named groups. Not needing
Nicotrol or Viagra (so far at least :-) ) I just skim past them.

It makes it difficult to read the post because the advert is right in the
way. I personally believe this is very bad and I wish we could change it.
It is there a Yahoo feedback e-mail ID. I believe that many people are
going to be upset about this.

sure when it took place, last night or today, but it is really bad
for reading on-line. Fortunately my most favorite groups, including this
one, I read via e-mail. You do not get any of these IN YOUR FACE ad when
              reading e-mail
