you go inside the playing fields!!(get involved on it),and the remembrance of a Mickey Mantle(see Mantle 1957 season)-blasting four homers in a game,
, a Roberto Clemente throwing from the right field killing him just in home !!--a Sandy Koufax
fanning 15 batters!! --Maury Wills stealing HOME !, and running, all of them Strato,APBA,
Replay, the board and windows version-Pursue the Pennant-Statis Pro,-all have given me
quite a time of happinness and hours of relentless surprises, courage some time as
when I was playing a game when Bob Feller lost to me a perfect game in the last
inning --to the LAST BATTER !!!!(ughhhrrr).
APBA is quite precise in the batters statistics, although in the basic version of it
there are no individual pitching cards as in strato(but even the ERA stays quite
close to their real ones. STRAT_OMATIC has to get better in the quality of
manufacturing and materials ---I dont care if they have to charge more!! i WILL
be trying Replay for the first time and I already have noticed that they put more
care and detail in the manufacturing and beauty and quality of cards than Strat-
O-Matic. APBA Master --this I want to try it..and Dynasty.
well , anytime they make me go back in time to those thrilling and chills moments
and make me acknowledge that baseball is THE WORLDS NATIONAL GAME!!
John Rothley <jslrroth@...> escribió:Yes, I agree. Strat o Matic Baseball is awesome. I started playing
Statis Pro Baseball back about oh 25 years ago and loved it. So much
in fact I bought it again on Ebay a half year or so ago and played
almost half a season of the Detroit Tigers 2006 season (almost 70
games). Had a ball. Then I discovered Stratomatic baseball. I am
very satisfied with the game. Bought it new with the 2006 season.
It is complex enough to satisfy me and simple enough to get my 10 and
13 year olds to try it. I think Statis Pro is laid out better but
Strat gives you so many more options. I have not played an NL game
where the pitcher bats so I cannot comment. I will try it soon to
see. Waiting for Halloween to be finished and my oldest to come home
then I'm heading down stairs to play Strat!
