[Synoptic-L] Luke and Josephus
- Peter Kirby asked --
>Does anyone know the names and works of individuals who have considered
>the hypothesis that the author of Luke-Acts depended upon Josephus? I
>am interested in learning about the history and reception of this
You might like to look at the marvellous commentary on Acts in
the International Critical Commentary series (published by T & T Clark,
Edinburgh) by C. K. Barrett in two volumes (1994,1998), and to make use
of the references to Josephus (over two hundred are listed in the index
at the end of Volume 2).
