See Steve Mason, _Josephus and the New Testament_ (Peabody,
Massachusetts: Hendrickson, 1992). Chapter 6 (pp.185-229) is titled,
"Josephus and Luke-Acts." Mason discusses these issues and thinks it
likely that Luke did know Josephus.
