    Message 1 of 1 , Nov 8, 1998
According to Kenneth Taylor-LIVING GOSPEL, Luke was describing his
preparation of the Gospel from reports circulated amongst the believers from
the apostles and eyewitnesses of the acts of Jesus. Since the Gospels were
prepared by different authors it seems their treatment and access to these
reports may have varied. We do not have a single Q source but people
drawing from a number of texts and or interviews with the sources while
researching their books. The same occurred in the Old Testament when it was
time again to write about Moses, a number of sources were in circulation
thus one part of the Pentateuch declared the father in law of Moses was
Jethro and another named him Hobab.

In the New Testament some variance occurred yet the overall harmony and
      context of Jesus' ministry seems
sufficient for prudent person to find rewards for the study and practice of
      these texts.
